1. How much weight could I be expected to lose whilst on Zotrim?
As a general rule, it follows that the more overweight you are the more you can expect to lose in a determined weight management programme. What is also true is that the nearer you are to a normal, healthy weight, the harder it is to lose those last few pounds. From our experience there is quite a wide spectrum in both the amount and the rate of weight loss reflecting the inherent differences between individuals and their circumstances. However, what we know is that in the published clinical trial featuring the Zotrim formulation and overweight people, the average weight loss was 11 lbs over six weeks. A healthy rate of weight loss is between one and two pounds in a week and with Zotrim, it is common to start observing weight loss from the second week onwards.
2. How does Zotrim work?
If you are overweight through overeating, Zotrim is designed to help you reduce food intake. Zotrim could work to help you feel full more quickly during a meal and for longer afterwards. This will help you to eat less during meals and avoid in-between meal snacks.
The plants used in Zotrim are well known for their invigorating properties. Zotrim may also help you to be more active and to burn more calories.
Zotrim therefore has a dual effect, helping to reduce calorie intake in food and drink and to increase calories burned through activity.
3. Can I take Zotrim with alcohol?
There is no harm in consuming alcohol in moderation whilst taking Zotrim. Alcohol is a source of calories, however, and excessive alcohol intake could contribute to additional weight gain or prevent weight loss. We therefore advise consumers to limit their intake of alcohol whilst on the Zotrim weight management programme.
4. How long can I take Zotrim?
A healthy rate of weight loss is between 1 and 2 lbs (half to one kilo) per week. Having set your target weight and started your Zotrim, it could take you several months or longer to get to your target.
Having reached your target you may continue taking Zotrim to maintain this lower weight. Alternatively, you might decide to stop taking Zotrim. If you notice that you have begun to put on weight you can start taking Zotrim again until you feel you are back in control.
5. How long before my meal should I take Zotrim?
It is best to take Zotrim with a glass of water or cold drink 15 minutes before your meal. However, if you forget, you can take it as you start your meal or during your meal. We also recommend that if you do not take breakfast that you do take one dose of Zotrim in the morning followed by two further doses with your main meals of the day.
6. What will happen if I miss a day, or a dose or two within a day?
It is preferable to routinely take the full recommended dose of Zotrim.
However, Zotrim is there to help you at any meal. If you do forget to take to take the odd dose then you may not loss weight so quickly.
Get into the habit of taking Zotrim first thing in the morning and then plan for the rest of the day.
Zotrim is now available as a drink called 'Slenderize' so you could replace one or more doses per day with this healthy low calorie drink.
7. What advice can you give me when I am taking my Zotrim?
Zotrim is your ally in helping you manage how much you eat, but what you eat and how you prepare your food is very important. To lose weight you have to control calorie intake. Cut down on fat which has twice as many calories per gram as the same quantity of carbohydrate.
- Substitute high fat foods such as full milk, cream, butter, cheese, all fried foods, crisps and nuts with low fat options such as skimmed milk, low fat spreads and cheeses, pasta, boiled potatoes, cereals and fruit.
- Grill and boil rather than fry and roast.
- To avoid hidden fats make sure you read labels on prepared foods and always choose the low fat option.
- Try to start the day with a good breakfast and avoid missing meals.
- Remember alcoholic drinks often contain a lot of calories so check your consumption.
8. What about exercise?
Exercise is an important part of any health programme and you should always ensure that the programme you choose is appropriate for your age, weight and state of health. There are a number of ways in which you can increase your energy consumption just by making small adjustments in your everyday life such as using the stairs rather than the lift, walking to the shops rather than taking the car, going for a walk after lunch. Make time during your day if you can to include some extra physical activity such as swimming or cycling.
9. Can Zotrim be used by vegetarians/vegans?
Zotrim tablets contain no animal matter and contain only extracts of naturally grown herbs.

2. Should I expect side effects when taking Zotrim?
Zotrim is a food supplement containing plant extracts. It has a very good safety record, with no side-effects reported in the principal trial undertaken with the formuation. Very occasionally, people have complained of feeling nauseous when starting Zotrim. We advise that if you have health problems, you should consult your doctor before taking Zotrim.
One of the three components of Zotrim is Guarana, which contains a little natural caffeine. So Zotrim should not be taken by anyone who is sensitive to and adversely affected by caffeine. The amount of caffeine in a day's intake of Zotrim is equivalent to that found in about one cup of coffee.
In the unlikely event that, whilst taking Zotrim, you feel ill or suffer from an adverse effect (which may or may not be associated with taking Zotrim) you should stop taking your tablets, and if the symptoms are serious and/or persist, you should consult your doctor.
